Parts Sales Representative

Charlottetown, PEI
Magnum Search Group has partnered with a leading dealer of specialized agricultural equipment. We are looking for a Parts Sales Representative for their location in Charlottetown, PEI.

PRIMARY FOCUS:
  • Reporting to the Parts Manager, the position is responsible for being the first point of contact for our parts customers and providing an exceptional customer experience.   
  • Utilizing excellent customer service skills this position is first contact with customers, over the counter and by phone. Provides pricing, availability and assistance in choosing an alternative. Initiates parts sales and seeks new sales opportunities. Ensures level of profit margin is sustained.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Uses problem-solving skills to find solutions to customer’s problems
  • Opens and manages sales orders
  • Follows through on orders customers have received them
  • Prepares invoices
  • Orders customer and stock parts from vendors
  • Conducts customer visits
  • Assists in inventory control
  • Assists with sales growth initiatives
  • Ensures all documentation completed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensures compliances with Health & Safety requirements
  • Displays high quality of workmanship and professional image at all times.
  • Keeps work station clean and tidy and helps keep parts department tidy and organized
  • Adheres to policies and procedures (company, employee, Parts, departmental)
 
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • Knowledge of and experience in parts systems, inventory control procedures, service and whole goods sales environments, or graduate of a Parts Technician program
  • Agriculture/farming experience is a strong asset
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Understanding of CDK business system, Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
